Your checklist to help you begin your 12-weeks with clarity

Hello there
In my last letter to you I asked: Why wait until January?
New Yearâs Resolutions are notoriously tough to keep.
The truth is, they often feel necessary to make just because we have let things slip so much over the past couple of months that we feel we need a drastic overhaul of our life in order to get back on course.
But what if you didnât arrive in 2026 feeling like youâre off track, sluggish, low in mood and overwhelmed by where to begin? Instead, you could step confidently into the new year feeling energised and focused.
Stop treading water until January 1st and start swimming steadily towards your island now.
You will notice that once you begin these 12 weeks, that you actually appear to enjoy this time of year more than usual. When we attend to our purpose and values through positive action, this ripples out into all area of our lives, and mean that we actually enjoy everything more fully and with more gratitude, less obligation. Sound good?
Letâs get to it
You may have completed the exercise in my last letter, and spent some time visualising where you want to be, or perhaps you revisited my Life Audit Tool to help you choose where to focus your energy for the next 12 weeks. (Linked at the bottom if you havenât seen it yet!)
But now you might be wondering: how do I actually start?
Now comes the tough part
At some point, intention must become action.
If you truly want this, do the thing.
If you donât, let it go and put your focus elsewhere.
Hereâs the truth: you donât need more time, you need more discipline.
Time slips away in scrolling, hesitation, and waiting. Discipline doesnât always feel fun at first, but it is the road that holds you steady. With discipline comes freedom and self-compassion.
Discipline is not shouting at yourself or berating yourself. You can practice discipline by taking care of yourself, you show discipline by listening to and honouring your future self and you are acting with discipline when you follow through on what you said youâd do.
Discipline shelters your higher self from your lower self and enables you to raise your game, for you.
So letâs get practical so that you can start today, now, not when you feel more âready.â Now.
