Don’t Wait for January, Begin Now
The Final Chapter of 2025 Starts Here | 12 Weeks is Enough to Change Your Story of 2025

Hello there
How are you doing?
I took some time to celebrate a family wedding, have been continuing my study for my Life Balance Therapist qualification, and also decided to take a short course in Ayurveda (which, by the way, was amazing, I’ll drop the link at the bottom so you can find out more).
When I returned from my cousin’s wedding, I felt that sudden change of season. The clocks will go forward in the UK soon, daylight hours are shortening, and the open-air cafés and classes in my city are beginning to close down and pack up for winter.
It struck me that this clearing, packing up, and closing down is also a beautiful invitation: to shed what we no longer need, to release the distractions, the spontaneity and chaos of summer, and to lean into the reflective, grounding energy of autumn.
As we enter the final quarter of the year, for many of us it feels like the downhill slope. We lose momentum and start to whisper, “I’ll start fresh in January.”
But why wait?
Don’t Wait for January, Begin Now.
We’re at the end of September. That means 12 whole weeks until 2025 closes (plus a few extra days for breathing space).
Twelve weeks is enough.
Enough time to begin something new, shed something you no longer want.
Enough time to learn, to grow, to reach a milestone or surprise yourself.
Let this final quarter of 2025 be your turning point.
As nature shifts, so can we
As the seasons turn and nature sheds what no longer serves, we’re invited to do the same. This is not a time to hibernate, stagnate or stop but a time to gently go inwards. To strip back. To nourish. To restore so we have the lightness needed to move forwards with clarity.
Ask yourself:
✨ What needs releasing?
✨ What do I want more of?
✨ What would it feel like to end 2025 feeling proud and deeply connected to my goals?
Perhaps this year asked you to detour or slow down. That’s okay. You can begin again, right here.
What will be the final scenes of your 2025 movie?
Take a moment to strip back. Come back to this time last year.
Where did you want to be by now?
And how can these next twelve weeks become your plot twist, or the point where all storylines begin to come together, revealing the bigger scene you’ve been building towards?
But, What Is Actually Possible In 84 Days?
Good question! Well, like anything, it depends. Here are some things people often underestimate but can do in 12 weeks or less, when they commit:
Make a significant shift in health/well-being: build a consistent exercise habit, change diet, improve sleep.
Launch a mini‑business or side‑gig: set up website, test products/services, get first sales.
Learn a new skill to a competent level (e.g. to drive, learn the basics of a new language, playing an instrument, coding fundamentals).
Deep clean or reorganise your life: declutter your home, simplify routines, manage your time.
Lose weight, get stronger and feel improvements to your whole body fitness and mobility.
Write a “first draft” of a book, or a huge chunk of a creative project (e.g. essay collection, large blog series).
Create a bank of posts/graphics/ideas/marketing emails for your business and organise them into a scheduling tool.
Make a new friend or establish a weekly community meetup.
Embed a new daily ritual: journalling, meditation, breathwork; habits that shift your energy, focus and peace. (It takes 63 days to fully embed a habit. You have at least 84 left this year…so you have extra time to really establish a life-changing habit for good).
Complete a course / certification (P.S there are so many great free ones available too!)
If you’re looking at this list and thinking ‘I don’t know what I would want to do…’ Then start by taking a look at my newsletter here which has free tools to help you establish exactly what you want first.
Or, take a moment to sit down now and think about the ‘you’ in 5 years, or even one year.
Visualise:
How do you feel?
Where are you, what’s your environment?
Who is there with you?
Who are you?
What are you doing
What have you let go of?
Now write it down. Put it on your fridge, stick it to your mirror, keep it in your journal write it in to a note in your phone. This is your North Star, your shining vision of what you are creating. (Science bit: Writing your goals down turns a passing thought into a tangible commitment so your brain treats it as something real, not just a wish. Cool huh🤓)
When you realise everything you do day-to-day becomes your life, it’s easier to see how reaching your goals can be as simple as tackling one action or one habit at a time.
Have questions?
I believe in you.
I want you to look at 31 December and say: I kept the promise I made to myself. Not “I’ll try” or “I meant to,” but I showed up.
With so much love and fierce faith in your becoming,
Love,
